Part 5 of APAC’s series of digital preservation guidance, produced by the association’s Digital Preservation Working Group, focuses on Workflows & Mapping against NDSA Standards, including:
- what kinds of workflows are involved in digital preservation work
- who uses different types of digital preservation workflows
- file format considerations to be aware of when developing these workflows
- the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) guidance on levels of digital preservation
Two accompanying case studies from the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe demonstrate digital preservation workflows and the NDSA guidance in practice.
