APAC Study Day 2025

Live art collections: activating archives and developing artistic research practice

The 2025 APAC Study Day will explore live art archives to discuss how these collections can be activated and their discoverability improved, along with how artists develop and embed research in their artistic practice.  We will hear from artists working within live art and interdisciplinary performance practice, who have worked with LADA’s collections, as well as APAC members who collect and care for live art archives and make them available for research and inspiration.

We are keen to encourage members to attend who research live art or hold live art and/or interdisciplinary performance practice as part of their collections, as we hope this study day will be a springboard for an APAC working group focusing on live art collections, so we can meet to discuss shared opportunities and challenges.

The study day will take place at the Live Art Development Agency, The Garrett Centre, 117A Mansford Street, London E2 6LX.  For more info on the space, access and nearest transport links please visit LADA’s website.

This will be an in-person event that is free for APAC members and £5 for non-members. To book, please head to the event on Eventbrite.

APAC is able to offer 5 travel grants of £75 to support members wishing to travel to the event.  If interested in receiving this grant, please fill out this form. Please submit your application by 12 May.

Coffee/tea will be provided, but we are unable to provide lunch, so please do bring lunch with you.
