APAC Study Day 2019: Collection Contexts
The 2019 APAC Study Day will be jointly hosted by the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Shakespeare Institute at The Other Place in Stratford upon Avon, and will also feature contributions from Shakespeare’s Globe.

11.00 – Welcome from the RSC
11.10 – APAC welcome and talk by Erin Lee, APAC Chair and PhD Student at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, on what the position of your archive means
11.30 – Joint presentation by RSC, SBT and the Globe on access and engagement to collections through digital learning projects
12.00 – Short break
12.15 – Talk by the Shakespeare Institute on the use of their library and archive in learning and research
12.45 – Talk by RSC and SBT on the challenges and opportunities of being a combined library, archive and museum collection
1.15 – Lunch
2.00 to 4pm – Tours of RSC exhibition The Play’s The Thing, SBT and RSC Archive
